Art Connects Women 2022 - Dubai

Zee Arts gallery selected Léa Nasnas Chami to represent Norway in Arts Connects Women 2022.

The event will gather artists women from all around the globe around the theme “Rise to Rejoice”.
Opening night will be on March 8th 2022 at the Atlantis hotel The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With her "Guilt-freeing" artwork, animated by The Vinc, Lea wishes to convey the message that we need to liberate ourselves from all the guilt that burdens us and keeps us stuck as if we were in jail. With the help of the right empowering affirmations, we can reverse our guilty mindset and break free. As we grow stronger, we can finally Rise to Rejoice and live life fully the way we truly deserve it!

Lea is a Norwegian self-taught artist, born in Lebanon in 1981 in the midst of the civil war. She grew up between Beirut, Paris and Oslo and started to paint to express her high sensitivity and suppressed emotions. Lea fell in love with the colors and fluidity of paint. She lets her inner child guide her hand while she paints and describes her style as "emotion-art". Her unique style caught the eye of plenty as she loves to paint meaningful subjects and strong emotions.
